Research
Advances in Diffusion-Ordered Spectroscopy

Biography
I studied a BSc in Applied Chemistry at Aston University, a four year course involving a placement year in which I worked as a research intern for Dr Andrew Sutherland. During this position, I co-wrote a successful application for funding on behalf of the BBSRC, to conduct research in an industrial partnership with Circa Sustainable Chemicals Ltd on a project entitled 'Synthesis and evaluation of specialty molecules and polymers from the cellulosic biomass derived
platform molecule levoglucosenone'. I graduated from Aston in July 2019 with a First-class Honours.

Before leaving Aston, I conducted a 6 week research internship under the supervision of Dr Rob Evans, where we utilised Diffusion-Ordered Spectroscopy to analyse the supramolecular self-assembly behaviour of self-healing polymers.

In September 2019 I moved to Manchester to begin working on an MSc by Research at the University of Manchester under the supervision of Prof Gareth Morris & Prof Mathias Nilsson, on a research project entitled the Advances in Diffusion-Ordered Spectroscopy.
